Peculiarities of structure-geometric and functional state of the myocardium in patients with hypertension stage II depending on smoking status are still need to be studied. Smoking in this group of patients is associated with a greater degree of the left atrium dilatation, left ventricular hypertrophy, diastolic tension, as well as violations of the process of diastolic pressure.
