All materials submitted for publication in the journal are reviewed by two independent reviewers who assess both the content and the originality of the work.

All submitted articles must be accompanied by the authors' declaration that the work has not been submitted to any other journal and has not previously been published. The form for this declaration is available on the journal’s website: www.zmj.zsmu.edu.ua

By submitting an article to this journal the authors accept that it will be screened for plagiarism. All detected cases of scientific misconduct will be disclosed, including notification of the appropriate institutions.

Ukrainian-, Russian- and English-language editors examine both the correctness and the originality of the wording. Any verbatim quotes from other articles must be enclosed in quotation marks and explicitly attributed to the original sources.

The editorial board’s final evaluation of each article is based in part on criteria developed by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
